Children, Accessibility & Swimming
This experience is suitable for families, children, seniors and non-swimmers. The shark encounter takes place in shallow water close to the shore, and no swimming experience is required. Most areas are easily accessible, although some sections include uneven terrain. If you have specific mobility requirements, please contact us before booking.
Pedra de Lume Salt Lake
Located inside the crater of an extinct volcano, Pedra de Lume Salt Lake is one of Sal Island's most unique natural attractions. Thanks to its high salt concentration, visitors can float effortlessly while enjoying a truly relaxing experience.
Buracona & The Blue Eye
The Blue Eye is a natural rock pool famous for its vibrant blue colour. The effect is strongest on sunny days and depends on weather and sea conditions.
Shark Bay & Lemon Sharks
Shark Bay is home to a resident population of juvenile lemon sharks that use its shallow waters as a natural nursery. Accompanied by a local guide, you'll have the opportunity to observe these fascinating animals safely and respectfully in their natural habitat.
What To Bring
We recommend bringing swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. Water shoes are highly recommended for Shark Bay and can be rented locally for approximately €3 per pair if needed.
Booking, Payment & Cancellation
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance payable on the day of the experience. We accept cash, European bank transfers, Revolut, Wise, N26 and MB WAY. PayPal and credit card payments are available subject to a 5% processing fee.
